To UNIFY and PROFESSIONALIZE MARKETING RESEARCH OPERATIONS and SERVICE PROVIDERS
Primary Objective
Form a non stock, non profit, tax exempt organization that will address the concerns of operations specialists, etc.
Other Objectives
- Ensure highest quality of data from members by coming up with/for the members to follow– agreements/rules/policies/procedures/ Code of Ethics re personnel hiring/firing/honoring co suppliers actions and related matters (also policing/quality controlling within the association); also try to understand each others operational objectives
- Standardize whatever can be standardized ie contracts, costs, quality control, etc.
- Serves to mediate among member disagreements/agreements
- Acquire additional learnings/share or exchange information / learnings / experiences /ideas /methodologies / techniques, within and even beyond the specialized business, whenever needed, to broaden, knowledge of MR and improve operational processes
- Share projects or work phases whenever applicable to ensure ample business for all members (help one another); you may also refer each other to prospective clients for project loads you cant handle anymore; foster fellowship
- Attempt to be the voice of the suppliers to the big research agencies when it comes to important matters affecting members
- Promote public understanding/appreciation of operations specialists’ needs and desires; of its processes important in the market research flow
